OPC Diagnostics - Dedication To Interoperability Quality Products & Support From Start To Finish To open the OPC Diagnostics window, just move your pointer as shown to the right. Part of the the dedication to interoperability that is the theme of OPC is to make sure that products from differing vendors can work together.  Each year, we put the TOP Server through OPC Interoperability Workshops where numerous OPC client and server providers get together for a week of intensive testing of how their products interoperate.  For those situations where an application involves a product that was not at an OPC Interop workshop or we need detailed troubleshooting information, the OPC Diagnostics Capabilities in the TOP Server are just a click away. Available in version 4.106.269 and higher of the TOP Server, you can simply click View ->Diagnostics->OPC to open the application shown below. No need to shutdown your client application, no need to change configuration - you can do all of this on the fly, where competing solutions require you to shutdown and restart to enable diagnostics, we give it to you when you need it with just a click. The example below shows an OPC client performing a Synchronous Read from the TOP Server for an item connected to a Modicon PLC in our test labs.
